Hopfully you will never ever need this. But I had a friend years ago whose dog got sprayed by a skunk...they tried everything to get the smell out of that poor dog. Nothing worked, not even tomato juice.
But last night we were watching a program all about skunks. And an expert was saying that he too has tried everything and the ONLY thing that worked was hydrogen peroxide mixed with baking soda and a little bit of soap. Bathe the dog in that mixture and your pet should be OK. But, be sure that you keep it out of their eyes..
